Congratulations to Tate Hutchinson, senior at Andover High School, who has been named a National Merit Semifinalist for the 2024-25 school year! Tate is among the top 1 percent of those who took the PSAT/NMSQT exam last year as a junior.

The scholarship provides up to $100,000 to cover tuition, room and board, books, supplies and other costs at Wichita State University, Kansas State University, Fort Hays State University or Emporia State University.

Kiara O’Dea, French teacher at Andover High School, was announced as one of Andover Public Schools nominees for the Kansas Horizon Award.
