I serve on the Kansas Teacher of the Year Evaluation Committee for Congressional District 4.
I was the USD #385 Secondary Kansas Master Teacher Nominee in 2017.
I currently serve on the: Architectural Committee for the bond issue, New Teacher Mentor Committee, Building Leadership Team, District Leadership Team, Career & Professional Studies Design Team, Andover Instructional Framework Chromebook Team, and Capturing Kids’ Hearts Process Champion Team.
I was the USD #375 Kansas District Teacher of the Year for 2013-2014. I attended various conferences and workshops associated to my tenure as a Kansas District Teacher of the Year.
I served on the Character Development Committee in a previous district that was designated as a National School of Character. I helped write the NSOC application and attended and presented at many conferences associated with it.

I have 3 children: Ciara, 22, Isabel, 13, and Graham, 8. My son attends Cottonwood Elementary, my daughter is a 7th grader at Central Christian Academy, and my oldest is a graduate of WSU. I do not have any pets, but love animals!
I love to run outside and to go to the pool in the summers. I also love traveling and reading.
